BISHOP MUSEUM
The Bishop Museum
The largest museum in Hawaii was built by Charles Reed Bishop in honor of his late wife, Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the last descendant of the royal Kamehameha family.

For those looking for something off the beaten track and out of the way, Lanai offers solitude and untouched beauty as well as golf, diving, sailing, hiking, abundant wildlife and stunning scenery. Founded by an exiled prince from Maui, Lanai changed from a land of outcasts to a successful agricultural and fishing center in the 1400s. In the 20th Century James Dole bought the island and soon it was producing 90% of the pineapples for American consumption.

Aloha Jewish Chapel - Military

   The Aloha Jewish Chapel, Building 1514, located across from the Makalapa Medical Clinic inside the Makalapa Gate at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii is a free-standing, Jewish Chapel, structured to offer all Jewish military personnel guidance with their spiritual and educational growth.  Friday night services are held weekly, as are the celebrations of Jewish holidays and Jewish traditions (e.g., weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Bat Mitzvahs and circumcisions) when appropriate. The Leeward Islands or Northwestern Islands of Hawaii, consist of 130 islands, islets and shoals strung out over 1,200 miles. They lie northwest of Kauai, beginning with Nihoa and ending with Kure Atoll about 55 miles west of Midway Atoll. Midway was the site of the historic World War II naval battle between the American and the Japanese navies.
